Kombatkids Wear a Hat Week

A huge 'THANK YOU' to everyone at Kombatkids during our fundraising week of Brain Tumour Research #wearahatday event.
During the 'Wear A Hat Day' event and the reason why Kombatkids continue to support

#BTR, we remember young Kombatkid Finlay Church, age 11, who lost his fight to this illness in 2015 and also, the sad fact is, 16,000 people a year are diagnosed with a brain tumour.
We are so proud and thankful to everyone that we are able to highlight and raise awareness throughout Kombatkids.

Well done everyone..you have all contributed to

#fundthefight and help to save lives.

We are pleased to announce all buckets have now been collected and monies counted and we raised £3,510!!

All monies will be seen next week at:

Wear a Hat day Cycle Ride

Sensei Steve, Sensei Jamie and Karate student/parent Kevin Ramsey are Cycling 100 miles from Yoxall to Nantwich to raise awareness for Wear a hat Day for Brain Tumour Research, adorned in Pink and Yellow, and of course Shower caps on their cycle helmets setting out at 9am on Thursday 29th March

All have carbed up properly, (taken their asthma inhalers which apparently boosts performance), decked in Pink leggings, Clingy lycra hopefully they will be noticed, the weather forecast says plenty of rain, so the pink shower caps will come in handy.

If you want to donate visit kombatkids just giving page
Eventually rode 106 miles Sensei jamie, had to pull out at 80 miles due to a knee injury, Kev and Steve carried on riding a 106 miles in total, drenched through, freezing cold but a very good cause to raise awareness for a fantastic charity.
