Time:  2.30pm to 5.30pm
Registration: 2.15pm - 2.30pm
Cost: £10 to be paid on the day – sibling £5 – 3rd child free.
Licence: Must hold a valid Licence

Equipment needed: If you have a sparring kit bring one along, if not we will provide gloves. Hook and Jab pads provided – Kick pads provided

Who can attend: Any students over the age of 4 years, any grade who train with 

Students will be concentrating on tournament techniques both in Kata and Kumite. Students will also be taught the basic etiquette, and rules. This session is ideal for students who want to improve their competition techniques, or for students who want to improve their general Karate training.

This is an ideal opportunity to train with different students from a selection of our clubs who are interested in improving their Karate and tournament experience.
NB Students who want to compete for Kombatkids have to attend 4 out of 6 squad sessions minimum

Lyle Moore 3rd Dan (Snr Kumite Coach) Ex England A squad Member, won many medals in Kata and Kumite at National level. FEW, Sweden European Championships Bronze Medal in Kumite 2007, Fought in Kumite at the Japanese National’s in Tokyo, Japan 2005

Anisha Mistry 3rd Dan (Snr Kata Coach) Ex England A squad Kumite Member, Assistant Wado Kai England Kata coach, won many medals in Kata and Kumite at National and international level. Bronze Medalist in Kumite at the Wadokai World Championships Japan 2015, European Team Kata champion 2014, European Silver Medallist in Kumite 2014. European Silver Medallist in Kata 2016, European team kata Champion 2016, European Pair Kata Champion 2016.

Alex Rowley 3rd Dan (Squad captain), Won many medals at National level, represented WKE at the FEW Championships, Belgium 2016.
