Sensei Jamie Donaghy (Senior Instructor)  is a student member of the British Association of Exercise Sciences

Jamie was amongst the first wave of students to pass their Black belt 1st Dan with the formerly known 'Central Karate Schools' in 1997.

Domestic Coaching
An important role is preparing students of all ages from 4 years upwards for taking part in competitions ranging from small friendly local tournaments to National Championships and domestic tournaments both in Kata and Kumite across the UK. Encouraging all abilities of students, beginners or advanced and providing them with the opportunity to compete and build their confidence to reach their potential.

Special Needs Students
Sensei Jamie has trained many students with special needs i.e Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Aspergers, Autism etc in helping them gain the confidence and self belief to pass their black belts and excel in an individual sport.

Relevant Work Experience
Sensei Jamie is now in his final year studying for a BSc (Hons) in Exercise & Health at Wolverhampton University.

Jamie trains regularly with the Wado Kai England squad in Kata.

Jamie has competed successfully at National level tournaments all over the country and has been training for 25 years. From the age of 18 years Sensei Jamie taught karate part time and also worked in the banking sector for a number of years until opting to work full time as a Senior Karate instructor for Kombat Federation.

 

Jamie taking 3rd place in the Ukasko National Championships 1998 when he was 14 years old.
